Despite what many people think about artificial intelligence, I do not think it will take control of us. I believe AI will always need the assistance of humans. With the help of humans, AI can receive the ideas and thinking of people with creativity and reasoning that is not always logical. Artificial intelligence is usually thinking more logical behind ideas and facts, with the help of people it can open up to new ideas and thoughts.

AI and humans working together can bring so many new ideas, innovation, technology, and creative thinking into the world. We can always help AI. It does not always mean it will take control and have more power than humans. It needs humans to keep going and to succeed. Bring humans and AI together will lead to so many future innovations and could help us all in the long run, so do not fear AI, but interact with AI.

BALT 318 Week 11 - Tableau

I downloaded the Tableau Public app, and I was navigating through to get the hang of it and watch different tutorials, but it was all very much confusing. I went through what type of files I could import, I chose to import a PDF file of my resume to test it out. They imported the data by columns and rows, so it was all very confusing after I imported it. I kept trying to figure out how to create and fix it after looking through videos, but it was too confusing, so I prefer to use the Canva site to create and infographic.

Although I prefer to use Canva as an infographic because it is easier to navigate, I am glad I got to try this out to see what my preferences are. Canva is much easier to navigate and it seems like a better use to create an infographic, whereas Tableau does not seem like a good fit. Overall, it helps to know there are different ways and templates that are offered to give me more options to create an infographic.

Many people feel that artificial intelligence can be dangerous, although it doe shave its risks, it also can benefit us! AI can gain and retain so much information beyond what the human brain could ever! So, why not have AI help us in the future as it gains more knowledge. It could help us advance in medicine, travel, space, and many industries that we have today! Sometimes if the benefit outweighs the risk, take the chance on AI and support how it can benefit us in the future.

I think AI can help us expand and invent on things we find difficult now. For example, they can help build new technology and even advance the medical field, They can create new inventions to be used for medical fields. For example, today they have created machines that can print out 3D objects, why not expand on that more, if it benefits the medical field which would benefit everyone else, it would help us, so why not do it! Artificial intelligence is growing and gaining more knowledge than many humans could, so why not use it to our advantage to expand on our future technology.

Getting SEO certified can benefit you and your company! Getting certified, helps train you and teach you how to create campaigns. When you create campaigns, you want a perfect campaign that grabs people's attention, you want people to click on your campaign, because the more people click on it and get attracted to the advertisement, the more success it will bring your brand. I chose to redo my social media infographic because I wanted to get more practice on it. Since, I will be using social media for Al-Quds Restaurant, I want to get more practice of how the perfect infographic in my opinion should look. My new infographic is below, I hope the more I keep changing it, the more I am experienced with Canva, and create a better infographic for Al-Quds Middle Eastern Restaurant!

This time I chose to write about how social media will help market better for a new business, especially a new restaurant. A course or a book is best because sometimes you just want to receive information, with magazines and articles that can sometimes be more opinionated and more biased because it could be more based on the person who writes about it. To learn something is a process, it takes time. However, you do want to receive the best and most accurate knowledge of AI and how it works. So, sometimes reading about books that involve facts, data, and research could be the best way to learn about AI and being taught about it in courses that are offered. Everything today is always changing, because there always new rules, updates, inventions, ideas, and more. So, it is good thing to always keep up to date! Most people stay up to date with things such as a new phone that comes out, new software, things that are more relevant at the time such as new forms of social media, and many things. We are all always keeping up with new changes. So we should be keeping up with new forms of SEO and rules.

Being a business or company owner, you want to keep up with how SEO changes so you can change your ads or promotions or searches you have created, especially with Google. BALT 318 Week 8 - Final Project Decision

For my final project I decide to either working on my friend's business which involves health and beauty care, or working on a family business of a Middle Eastern Restaurant. I chose to do my project on the Middle Eastern Restaurant because it is a new business and I think creating infographics could really help it improving in its promotional strategy. I think creating an infographic for an upcoming business, especially a restaurant, could really help in getting it noticed and bringing it some success.

In my infographic proposal, I will include the necessities to help the restaurant succeed. Such as how to promote it through social media, what type of people you want to attract to the restaurant, how they want to restaurant to look such as what it will have to influence people to come to it, and overall just the perfect way to grab people's attention. Many people who hear the term artificial intelligence, probably just think of robots, technology, and machines. However, not many people really think about humans when they should.Humans are part of the idea of AI. They helped build it and improve it. Humans are key part to many things that have been created in the world. Even though artificial intelligence can work on its own, it comes with the help of humans.

There are many humans who play a key role in AI. One in particular who is considered a leader in the world of AI is Fei Fei Li. She uses AI to help her with her work of visual applications. AI is important in visual applications and has had much impact because t has involved the creation of advancements in technology such as self-driving cars.

Many people are heavily involved in creating and improving AI, they believe it can help improve our technological advancements and build new ideas and creations that could benefit us. So, with AI, there is much more we can learn and expand on, we are not just relying on technology, we also rely very much on humans who may have helped create something as significant as AI.

Google has to index their websites Webmaster tools can helps small and large companies by making it easier to manager their company. With webmaster, it could help narrow down searches for certain sites or ads in Google. Webmaster makes it easier for companies like Google to manage sites, keywords, ads, and more. Webmaster is like going to a doctor or dentist, it allows you to make check ups. Checking up is always a good thing because then you know if you are doing something right or wrong, or if something needs to be improved or not.

Companies should use webmaster to monitor their performance, because it is a great way to check up on content such as traffic to your site, mobile usability, links leading to your site, and more. This is perfect to keep track of, because it allows companies to see how users get to their sites and what they search for or click on that leads to their sites. BALT 318 Week 7 - Think Like A Designer

I plan on doing my infographic for a small business on how social media is the best way to promote an idea, company, business, or anything, especially for small businesses. There are many different ways one could about creating an infographic to attract people to come to the business. Creating an infographic about social media could use an infographic that is more simple, creative, outgoing, plain, different styles, patterns, and more. There is so much one could do with an infographic, but it all depends on the type of audience one wants to attract. My two ideas are either for it to be simple or to be creative.

One idea I have is by making it simple. With making it simple, I want it to be clear, precise, easy to understand, and not to much so it is not boring. Some people prefer for advertisements to be simple, because some people do not like it to be too much. I asked a friend, and she told me she prefers for ads and promotions to be more simple, because she is a person who is simple and creativity is not what matters to her, but what the content is. 

My other idea involves creating it to stand out. Stand out involves bold letters, the size of the letters, and more color to make it stand out from other advertisements. Some people like creativity because it could represent how the business works. I asked several family members and they prefer creativity especially my sister, because she is a marketing major. She believes creativity stands out and attracts more people especially with social media, because social media is already so creative, make an infographic that is creative as well. I am choosing to make it creative by making it more colorful, bold, large, with many pictures to stand out.

The last form of getting used to artificial intelligence is by adepting to it. Adepting to AI involves getting to know more about it by developing it yourself. Adepting to AI allows you to keep up with it. Just as you want to learn anything, it involves you being more involved and attempting to learn more about it. Being involved requires you to learn more about something and actually attempt it for yourselves. That is one of the best ways to learn about something you do not understand, is trying it out for yourself!

The more you learn about AI, you will want to try it out yourself. You will want to to learn more about hot it works and how to develop it. Keeping up with new developments and technology for AI helps, because it helps keep you informed on how it is changing and how it works. Adopting, adapting, and adepting to AI is a great way to learn more about it, understand it, and one day even attempt to use it by developing it yourself. It all just takes time and effort!

When using SEO to promote your brand or campaign, you want to create different advertisements and promotions to get it noticed. However, no matter how much effort or time you put into the work you do for SEO, you have to really check and make sure it is actually working. You need to monitor your campaign to make sure it is succeeding, if you are not, you will never know how well or bad it is doing, and then all the work you put in, goes to waste. There are many ways to monitor such as seeing the rank of your SEO, keep checking in on it, and the best way is looking at your ROI.

A great way to see if you campaign is working, is to look at your Return on Investment, ROI. With your ROI, you want to see how well the campaign is doing. Is it getting as much attention as effort you put into the campaign? If not, then you are losing time, money, creativity with a campaign that is not succeeding, so you have to decide what you can do better to improve the campaign, so it can improve your ROI. If it is, then keep doing what you are doing, but there are always ways for improvement, with improvement you can bring it more success. Monitoring ROI on the campaign is a great way to learn from SEO.

I chose the Use of Social Media infographic, because it is the one I got to spend more time and learning more about Canva and all its creative tools. I think Social media is a great tool or skill to have for any product, idea, company, small business. restaurant or what ever it may be. Social media allows you to promote to so many people so that is why I think anyone looking to promote anything should use social media to reach a wider audience.

For my final project I will most likely be doing it on my family's small business or a friend of mine who runs a small business for skin care and related products. I have decide on either of these because I feel that I have a better understanding of these businesses because they relate to me. Besides just learning about what AI is and what it can do, try learning more about hot work it and manage it. Better your knowledge of artificial intelligence. Instead of ignoring AI, start learning how to use it and as you slowly use it, you will learn more. The reason many people refuse to adopt to the idea of artificial intelligence is because they fear what it might do to our world. Taking the time to learn what you don't know, will help you better understand how you feel about AI.

They fear the idea of it taking over and losing on things such as culture, diversity, employment, knowledge, and more. They feel that they will miss out on so much. However, what helps is adopting to the idea of AI, because they fear something they do not know. If they take the time to learn how it works and actually use AI, they would fear it less. It doe snot mean they have to agree with AI, but it doesn't mean you don't try. You should not fear anything that you do not take the time to learn and understand. If they learn more, they could learn how to manage it and come to accept that it exists.

BALT 318 Week 5 - Social Media Infographic

I tried redoing my social media infographic. I asked friends and family what they think I should differently. I had already created to keep it simple, so I did not want to make it more complex. They told me I should add more color to it to help it receive more attention. With more color and design it stands out the way social media does. Social media should have a bright and fun theme to it, nothing boring or plain. Social media is all about creativity, so that is why changing it and making it pop out compared to others, represents the idea better.

I decided to change the colors of the text and the lines. I enjoyed it because I got to learn more on how to use Canva by looking at new things I could add into my infographic. They offer so many designs, lines, patterns, colors, and more to add in your infographic. It allows you to explore so much to change your infographic to make it more appealing for others. Canva allows you to change it to meet your standards, which is nice especially when it comes to promoting and advertising. I chose mine to stand out, and to learn more instead of making something plain and simple, now more simple but with creativity.

Many people are not sure how to respond to the idea of having artificial intelligence. One way to do it is by adapting. Sometimes it can be hard to adapt to something new or something that we do not understand. That is perfectly fine, everything just takes time, but it also takes effort. We cannot judge something we do not know about, so we cannot make up our minds or thoughts on AI, until we learn more about it or even use it. So, we just have to take the time to do a little bit of research and see what it is we already made up our minds about and we didn't even know what it exactly was.

Even if we do not understand AI, it doe snot mean we cannot take the time to learn. Sometimes all it takes is just doing a little research through the Internet. Researching anything about AI could help. You can learn many different things you did not know before. For example, you can learn more about its pros and cons, and if it is actually better or worse for society to have artificial intelligence. So learning new knowledge about something we do not know, can open our minds more and it may or may not give people a different view on AI, but at least they know more about it.

Thinking about the keywords you want to use in SEO is important, because those words are how people can find out about your company, brand, product, anything you want to see basically. Everything takes time getting used to, it all takes effort and lots of practice! When creating a campaign or advertisement you must create keywords that you know people would search, what would be most common. It is hard getting used to creating keywords for a campaign. Every time you create a new campaign, you have to think of new keywords to create so when someone searches those keywords, they can get to your campaign. If your keywords that you have created are not good enough, you can always change it to what people search for in Google. You can create new words that are more likely to be searched and led to your campaign. However, it is hard because there are so many things to think about when creating keywords.

Creating keywords can sometimes require creative thinking, because you cannot always just put some any keyword, it has to relate to your campaign to match what users are looking for. Your keywords should have a campaign that stands out from your competitors. So, do not only think about what keywords you are using, but your competitors as well so you can create more similar or better word searches to help bring users to your company over others.You want yours to get noticed. So it does take time to get the hang of creating keywords because there are so many parts to it to think about when creating them. Artificial intelligence has been a topic that has gotten more and more popular over the years. Even though it is heavily discussed and thought of, the really question is do people believe in it or what it can do? Many people do not believe that AI could really take over the world and take control of the things humans do everyday. People do not see that we could allow technology to do the work we humans do in this world. They should believe in it, because it could lead to many inventions and ground breaking ideas for our future.

I believe that AI is growing and there is so much that they could take over. However, I do not think they would necessarily have control over everything, because there are many things we trust humans to do more than AI or robots. Sometimes it is hard to rely on technology because of malfunctions, technical issues, and more. There will always be a part of us humans that can only trust other humans to do the work, for example when it comes to medicine. Everyone loves data visualization! We love learning new things and hearing about new ideas, sometimes with images more than words. With data, images, charts, and more, it can help us really see a story. I would prefer to be told a story though data visualization because it can be easier to find information, gain facts, and understand better. With data visualization instead do just writing it out in a story, it can be less interesting, more difficult to, read, and hard to find specific information without reading every line.

When presenting a new idea or pitch to a company to sell it, you want to use data through charts, graphs, statistics, and more. This way it really influences people and gets their attention to watch you are presenting. With data t shows that you put in research with facts and stuff to backup your idea. There are many ways to tell a story, by explaining it, writing it in a book, or sometimes a common one is used with either images or data. Data is used in many situations to explain an idea, project, plan, or story. Data can sometimes be easier to understand what is trying to be said, because it goes into more detail of a story than just explaining it.

After creating my first infographic, which I created based on why companies should be using social media to promote their brand. I found it very interesting and not as difficult as it first seemed, until I watched the video. It is actually pretty simple after following how to do it. It really just involves:

-Creating an account with CANVA
-Picking what type of infographic you will be creating
-Choosing your template
-Insert information and little images you want included
-The just download your completed infographic

I believe infographics could really help companies, people, or just about anyone looking to present. In my opinion, i prefer stuff with less information because sometimes it can be too distracting.
