BALT 318 Week 8 - Final Project Decision

For my final project I decide to either working on my friend's business which involves health and beauty care, or working on a family business of a Middle Eastern Restaurant. I chose to do my project on the Middle Eastern Restaurant because it is a new business and I think creating infographics could really help it improving in its promotional strategy. I think creating an infographic for an upcoming business, especially a restaurant, could really help in getting it noticed and bringing it some success.

In my infographic proposal, I will include the necessities to help the restaurant succeed. Such as how to promote it through social media, what type of people you want to attract to the restaurant, how they want to restaurant to look such as what it will have to influence people to come to it, and overall just the perfect way to grab people's attention. I have attached a Microsoft Word document of what my proposal holds. I hope to accomplish and succeed and creating the perfect infographic for Al-Quds Restaurant.

Many people who hear the term artificial intelligence, probably just think of robots, technology, and machines. However, not many people really think about humans when they should.Humans are part of the idea of AI. They helped build it and improve it. Humans are key part to many things that have been created in the world. Even though artificial intelligence can work on its own, it comes with the help of humans.

There are many humans who play a key role in AI. One in particular who is considered a leader in the world of AI is Fei Fei Li. She uses AI to help her with her work of visual applications. AI is important in visual applications and has had much impact because t has involved the creation of advancements in technology such as self-driving cars.

Many people are heavily involved in creating and improving AI, they believe it can help improve our technological advancements and build new ideas and creations that could benefit us. So, with AI, there is much more we can learn and expand on, we are not just relying on technology, we also rely very much on humans who may have helped create something as significant as AI.

Google has to index their websites Webmaster tools can helps small and large companies by making it easier to manager their company. With webmaster, it could help narrow down searches for certain sites or ads in Google. Webmaster makes it easier for companies like Google to manage sites, keywords, ads, and more. Webmaster is like going to a doctor or dentist, it allows you to make check ups. Checking up is always a good thing because then you know if you are doing something right or wrong, or if something needs to be improved or not.

Companies should use webmaster to monitor their performance, because it is a great way to check up on content such as traffic to your site, mobile usability, links leading to your site, and more. This is perfect to keep track of, because it allows companies to see how users get to their sites and what they search for or click on that leads to their sites. Monitoring shows that you are invested in keeping you company functioning properly, webmaster tools make it easier to do that.

BALT 318 Week 7 - Think Like A Designer

I plan on doing my infographic for a small business on how social media is the best way to promote an idea, company, business, or anything, especially for small businesses. There are many different ways one could about creating an infographic to attract people to come to the business. Creating an infographic about social media could use an infographic that is more simple, creative, outgoing, plain, different styles, patterns, and more. There is so much one could do with an infographic, but it all depends on the type of audience one wants to attract. My two ideas are either for it to be simple or to be creative.

One idea I have is by making it simple. With making it simple, I want it to be clear, precise, easy to understand, and not to much so it is not boring. Some people prefer for advertisements to be simple, because some people do not like it to be too much. I asked a friend, and she told me she prefers for ads and promotions to be more simple, because she is a person who is simple and creativity is not what matters to her, but what the content is. 

My other idea involves creating it to stand out. Stand out involves bold letters, the size of the letters, and more color to make it stand out from other advertisements. Some people like creativity because it could represent how the business works. I asked several family members and they prefer creativity especially my sister, because she is a marketing major. She believes creativity stands out and attracts more people especially with social media, because social media is already so creative, make an infographic that is creative as well. I am choosing to make it creative by making it more colorful, bold, large, with many pictures to stand out.

The last form of getting used to artificial intelligence is by adepting to it. Adepting to AI involves getting to know more about it by developing it yourself. Adepting to AI allows you to keep up with it. Just as you want to learn anything, it involves you being more involved and attempting to learn more about it. Being involved requires you to learn more about something and actually attempt it for yourselves. That is one of the best ways to learn about something you do not understand, is trying it out for yourself!

The more you learn about AI, you will want to try it out yourself. You will want to to learn more about hot it works and how to develop it. Keeping up with new developments and technology for AI helps, because it helps keep you informed on how it is changing and how it works. Adopting, adapting, and adepting to AI is a great way to learn more about it, understand it, and one day even attempt to use it by developing it yourself. It all just takes time and effort!

MKTG 348 Week 7 - Is It Working?

When using SEO to promote your brand or campaign, you want to create different advertisements and promotions to get it noticed. However, no matter how much effort or time you put into the work you do for SEO, you have to really check and make sure it is actually working. You need to monitor your campaign to make sure it is succeeding, if you are not, you will never know how well or bad it is doing, and then all the work you put in, goes to waste. There are many ways to monitor such as seeing the rank of your SEO, keep checking in on it, and the best way is looking at your ROI.

A great way to see if you campaign is working, is to look at your Return on Investment, ROI. With your ROI, you want to see how well the campaign is doing. Is it getting as much attention as effort you put into the campaign? If not, then you are losing time, money, creativity with a campaign that is not succeeding, so you have to decide what you can do better to improve the campaign, so it can improve your ROI. If it is, then keep doing what you are doing, but there are always ways for improvement, with improvement you can bring it more success. Monitoring ROI on the campaign is a great way to learn from SEO.

BALT 318 Week 6 - Making a PDF

I have attached the link to my infographics from my Google Drive, that I thought was my favorite so far this semester. I chose the Use of Social Media infographic, because it is the one I got to spend more time and learning more about Canva and all its creative tools. I think Social media is a great tool or skill to have for any product, idea, company, small business. restaurant or what ever it may be. Social media allows you to promote to so many people so that is why I think anyone looking to promote anything should use social media to reach a wider audience.

For my final project I will most likely be doing it on my family's small business or a friend of mine who runs a small business for skin care and related products. I have decide on either of these because I feel that I have a better understanding of these businesses because they relate to me. I wanted to choose one I know, not a business or company I am not familiar with. I would create a social media infographic for one of these businesses to help bring more attention to it and and more awareness.
